Cultural Residency. The Fundación del Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de México, through its Contemporary Art and Culture program, based at CASA VECINA, makes production as well as creative research projects that interact with, and are inspired and nurtured by the diversity of community contexts of the Historical Center of the Mexican capital. Through its Research and Cultural Production Residency, Casa Vecina opens up its space and generates the necessary conditions for Mexican and foreign researchers, producers, creators and other cultural agents, to develop projects related to the dynamis of different communities.
Researchers (anthropologists, sociologists, historians, etc.); artists from every discipline (film, visual arts, theater, dance, music, craftsmanship, etc.), and other cultural agents (editors, designers, journalists, cultural managers, urban researchers, designers, curators, etc.) may apply to the Cultural Residency with research/production proposals (3 to 4 months) that take into account, are related to and delve into any specific aspect(s) of any community
